Jewellery Design
From time immemorial, women all over the world have adorned themselves with jewellery. Hence the concept of Jewellery Design has become an integral part of creation of jewellery. With time Jewellery Design has greatly evolved, from the heavy ornate designs to delicate fusion designs. At E.G.L., we train our students to bring out their creativity and keep their design ideas flowing in the correct direction.
Students are taught how to increase observation levels to enhance their creativity, by seeking inspiration from their natural surroundings. Create their own designs and practicality of making jewellery of such designs. They are also thought combination off settings to be done, texture of gold to be used for such pieces and all related details for creating their dreamed pieces.
The course is set on international standards and includes both theoretical and practical sessions, out of which 20% is theory, and practical sessions cover 80% of the Jewellery Design course.
